The Noir Kringle team are so excited and working hard to bring you some festive fun for Christmas 2023! An elf's work is never done!

After our previous sell out events, we cannot wait to bring even more vintage Christmas wonder, and this year our experience will be even bigger and more magical than before! Come and join us on our magical Black Santa's Grotto journey for a twist of something new...

At Noir Kringle it is our aim to change the narrative of Christmas...

Our events are aimed at families who value the importance of positive black representation, inclusion, diversity and want their children to be part of a magical experiential Christmas celebration. We aim to create memories for children that last a lifetime and evoke nostalgic moments for all. In addition to this we want our guests to feel seen!

During the event you will step into Noir Kringle’s magical Christmas Grotto, set up in Santa’s workshop surrounded by sparkly presents and stockings. Letters from Children are piled high, ready to be read by the man in red, with all the sounds and smells of Christmas and more surprises.

All ages are welcome, from first Christmases and beyond - you just have to be a believer! Life is too short not to believe in the magic of Christmas.

On arrival you will be greeted by Mr Kringle's helpers and Mrs Kringle, who will guide you through our enchanting Black Santa's Grotto.

The workshop tour includes making Mrs Kringle's very own secret magic reindeer food, a mini elf school workshop and more. **Each workshop tour lasts for 45 minutes**, including a group meet and greet session with Mr Kringle.

Every child will get a chance to share what is on their Christmas list with Mr Kringle, as well as an opportunity to capture a magical picture with the man in red. To end your visit each child or infant will receive a gift.

Each 45-minute time slot is for small groups of maximum 10 children or infants (under 12 months) for a personal and memorable encounter ** ALL TICKETS INCLUDE ONE ADULT ENTRY

INFANT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT A REDUCED PRICE (0-12 months), whilst children aged between 1-16 will need a child ticket!

WHAT ARE THE TICKET PRICES?

Child's ticket 1-16 years (INCLUDES ONE ADULT) early bird starts at £30 per ticket (babies aged under 12 months are a reduced rate of £25)

Additional adult tickets start at £10 per ticket (MAX OF ONE ADDITIONAL ADULT TICKET PER CHILD OR INFANT TICKET BOOKED)

For your own friends or family book our GROUP TICKET OPTION! The group ticket is for up to 10 children or infants and 20 adults or 6 children & 12 adults in our relaxed sessions to create a magical Christmas get together! You can also make your visit private using this option with fewer attendees if you wish for a more one-to-one experience. Early bird Price starts from £350 & £210 for relaxed sessions.

Infant attendees will still have their names printed on The Good List, be able to take part in the small sensory section aimed at under ones and will get a gift from Mr Kringle.

RELAXED SESSIONS

This coming Christmas we have a new option with our relaxed sessions, which are specially reserved for children and adults with additional needs. These sessions will be adapted to allow those who are neurodivergent to enjoy The Noir Kringle experience without becoming overwhelmed, with smaller group sizes of 6 and additional time taken for parts of the experience this includes reducing lighting and flicking lights and lowering the volume of the event as well as providing a space if any aspect of the event becomes too overwhelming.

PLEASE NOTE THAT RELAXED SESSIONS ARE AN OPTION. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND ANY OF OUR OTHER AVAILABLE SESSIONS AND YOU OR ANYBODY IN YOUR PARTY HAVE ADDITIONAL NEEDS WE WELCOME YOU TO BOOK A SESSION YOU FEEL WORKS BEST FOR THE NEEDS OF THE ATTENDEES.

** Each child or infant ticket booked automatically allows entry for one adult. The Grotto Experience is for believers from their first Christmas and beyond; the activities during the event are aimed at young babies – children aged up to 8, but there are many older children who have attended previously and loved the experience.

There will be an opportunity to capture a keepsake photograph with Mr Kringle which can be purchased before the event or on the day.

**THE EXPERIENCE IS PERSONALISED & NON-REFUNDABLE **

You will need to arrive 10 minutes early for your session to be checked in and to prepare for your experience to begin! Once the doors are closed and the session has begun unfortunately you will not be allowed entry.

**There are a maximum of 10 children or infant tickets available per session.**

Due to space limitations during the experience, all children attending the experience must have a ticket. A child’s ticket includes 1 adult entry per child.

**Grotto FAQs**

**WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?**

Tickets are available to purchase on our website and must be booked via our online booking platform: www.noirkringle.co.uk Tickets are non-refundable.

However, there are options to make changes to the names on the booking and changes may be allowed if a time slot is available that becomes more convenient to you at a later date after booking your experience (the closing date for changes to bookings is 1/11/23 and after this date changes will not be possible).

Each child’s ticket is for one child and one adult entry. (A CHILDS TICKET INCLUDES ONE ADULT ENTRY) There is also the option to buy an additional adult ticket (THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF ONE ADDITIONAL ADULT TICKET PER CHILD TICKET BOOKED).

**DO NEWBORN BABIES COUNT AS AN ATTENDEE?**

If you are booking with babies, they will need a ticket however they are priced at a reduced rate.

**WILL MY VISIT TO THE GROTTO BE PRIVATE?**

Please note all Grotto sessions are group sessions with up to 9 other children, When visiting Santa you and your family will have one-to-one time with Santa. However, if you book our GROUP TICKET option your session will be private.

**HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?**

They will be emailed to the address you used to book your tickets.

**DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET/S?**

If you are unable to print your ticket, you can download it and we can scan it from your smart phone.

**CAN I JUST TURN UP AND BUY A TICKET?**

Booking is only available online prior to the event. We strongly advise to book early due to high demand and the personalised element of the experience. Tickets tend to sell out early.

**I FORGOT/ I NEED AN EXTRA TICKET FOR AN EXTRA CHILD OR INFANT FOR MY BOOKING , CAN THEY BE SQUEEZED IN ON THE DAY? OR AFTER EVENT SELLS OUT?**

We cannot admit more than 10 children or infants per session, and 6 children or infants on our relaxed sessions Therefore we will be unable to accommodate any extra attendees and they will be unable to enter the event.

**WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU MADE DUE TO COVID-19?**

Our elves will be regularly cleaning the Grotto to maintain strict hygiene protocols. Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance and exit of the Grotto.

We will be asking each customer to confirm that no one in their party has any of the following coronavirus symptoms:

A high temperature

A new, continuous cough

A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste

All photos with Santa will adhere to Government guidelines at the time.

The Grotto will be run in line with Government guidelines at all times. Please note that if government guidelines change, we may change the format at short notice.

**IS THERE CAR PARKING AT THE GROTTO?**

No. However, the venue is a short walk from either Hoxton or Shoreditch High Street overground or Old Street tube stations.

**Terms & Conditions:**

By booking a ticket you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Once tickets are booked they are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are no longer able to attend the event tickets are non-refundable. However, there are options to make changes to names on the booking and changes may be allowed if a time slot is available that becomes more convenient to you at a later date after booking your experience (the closing date for changes to bookings is 1/11/23 and after this date changes will not be possible) AS VISITS ARE PERSONALISED.

One adult per child is included with the ticket, and an adult must remain present at all times during the experience. All children attending the event must have a ticket. Children remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian at all times.

Our Grotto is always in high demand so please ensure you have read the FAQs and booking conditions for more information on how we are updating our Grotto format to adhere to Government guidelines before booking your tickets. We are leaving 15-minute windows between each session for cleaning.

**There will be a photographer and film-maker present during the event and these images may be used for publicity and marketing purposes to promote the event. Please contact a member of our team at Noir Kringle HQ if you wish to be exempt from this activity on info@noirkringle.com

Safety measures at The Black Santa's Grotto Experience: Noir Kringle want you to be able to enjoy the experience with all updated safety measures. Our commitment to our users and staff means that we have designed each activity to guarantee your safety throughout the experience:

All spaces will be set up with social distancing regulations in mind, including any seating

(if government guidelines deem this necessary).

We created contactless experiences:

Fever tickets feature contactless validation.

Cashless payments.

No coat checks / cloakroom.

Individual packages replacing shared material.

We will ensure that all attendees make use of Personal Protective Equipment: (if government guidelines deem this necessary).

Face masks will be available (subject to Government guidelines).

Hand sanitiser will be available at all events.

Temperature checks will be available (subject to Government guidelines). Here’s what you can do to protect yourself and those around you:

Stay at home if you are experiencing symptoms.

Respect all safety and health-related signs and instructions.

Stay up to date on safety recommendations from your local authorities. We will ensure safe interactions between our staff members and guests:

All event staff and performers will wear gloves and face masks or face shields where applicable.

All event staff and performers will maintain high levels of hygiene through regular hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser.

We will create the safest possible environment.

We will always operate at safe capacities set out by law.

We will disinfect our event space frequently.

The clothes, costumes and materials of event staff and performers will be disinfected frequently.

We will minimise the use of decorative objects and surfaces likely to be shared/touched by guests.

At events, clear information regarding your safety will be a priority:

We will communicate health and safety information at the beginning of each experience, so that every guest will be aware of the guidelines.

All event regulations, including health and safety information, will be available at the venue. Our employees will be fully trained on all safety measures and procedures.

**IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN LEAVE MY BAGS?**

There are no lockers at the Grotto; therefore we suggest you only bring items with you that you are happy to carry. There will be a small buggy park where you can leave any prams, which is located as you walk into the Grotto entrance; unfortunately, we do not allow prams inside the Grotto. Noir Kringle accepts no responsibility for personal belongings.

**HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?**

The Grotto experience is up to 45 minutes long. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check into your session, especially during busy periods.

**WHAT GIFT/S ARE PROVIDED?**

Noir Kringle will provide a gift for each child and baby who attends. The Grotto gift is non- transferable and cannot be exchanged (for cash or otherwise). Adults will NOT receive a gift.

**WHEN BOOKING I WAS ASKED WHAT MY CHILDS NAME/ AGE (AT DATE OF THEIR VISIT TO THE GROTTO) / WHAT WILL SANTA BE BRINGING THIS CHRISTMAS. WILL THIS BE USED TO SELECT THEIR GIFT?**

This information will be passed onto Mr Kringle to make your visit more personal (NOT THE GIFT GIVEN AT THE EVENT).

**IS THE PHOTO INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?**

Photos can be purchased prior to the event when booking your ticket (if you would like to pay for everything in advance) or can be purchased at the end of your Grotto visit.

Grotto photographs and gift items are available to purchase on exiting the Grotto and are subject to a processing time of up to 10 minutes at peak periods. Please check all photo products before you leave the Grotto to check you are happy with the layout. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or re-take photos after you have left the Grotto. Payments will be taken by card.

Each printed photo includes a free digital copy of the same image. If you think you would like more than one printed image select the amount and add to cart. when booking your time slot please use the email address that you would like your digital photo copies to be sent to.

**WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?**

If we find it necessary to close the Grotto for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or the option to book into an alternative session (subject to availability). Due to the current climate, we reserve the right to cancel at short notice, in which case a full refund will be given. If legislation changes which means we have to make alterations to the way we operate the Grotto, but we are still able to remain open then no refunds will be given.

If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your session, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.

If you present at the entrance to the Grotto with coronavirus symptoms you will be refused entry to the Grotto and will not receive a refund.

Please ensure that you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking before completing the purchase of your tickets.

**IS THE GROTTO WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY?** Yes, the Grotto is wheelchair friendly.
